Top 5 Consumer Finance Apps on Unified Platform in Peru: Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top consumer finance applications on a unified platform in Peru demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active user engagement. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of these apps.

Banca Móvil BCP saw a strong start with weekly downloads peaking at around 152K in early July. Although there was a dip in the following weeks, downloads rebounded to approximately 135K by late September. Active user numbers fluctuated slightly, starting at 2.2M and ending the quarter with a similar count, indicating stable user engagement.

The Interbank APP maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Starting with around 42K weekly downloads in early July, the app saw a slight increase, reaching about 40K by the end of September. Active users exhibited a steady rise from 800K to nearly 846K, suggesting growing user adoption.

BBVA Perú experienced a moderate decline in downloads, starting at 32K and dropping to about 30K by the quarter's end. However, the app sustained a robust active user base, hovering around 1.2M throughout the period, reflecting consistent user retention.

For Banco de la Nación-banca móvil, weekly downloads showed an upward trend, beginning at 25K and rising to approximately 24K by the end of September. Active users also increased slightly, from 234K to nearly 237K, indicating a gradual growth in engagement.

Lastly, Scotiabank Perú had a varied download pattern, starting at 15K and fluctuating throughout the quarter, ending at around 14K. Despite this, the active user count remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around the 280K mark, highlighting steady user activity.
